A idea for A rank system for IS

Well I noticed we wanted to branch out as a guild in jk2. So I figured some kind of rank system would be appropriate. Based on skill and so on.

My idea is this: Once every three months we hold a tourney against 3 people leaders find worthy of the same rank. Whoever comes out winning gets promoted.

and my idea to keep the tags short and have a rank system is this

rank 1- -IS-
rank 2- /IS/
rank 3 [IS]
rank 4- {IS}
rank 5- <IS>
rank 6 (leaders)- ~IS~

Any thoughts?

Seems ok. Any names for the ranks though?
Was thinking:

Recruit/Initiate
Gaurdian
Warrior
Master (possibly have this switched with Sentinel)
Sentinel
Leader

for rank 1 I think Acoylte sounds better

For in-game tags, it could also just be -IA-[namehere]-[rank #]

For example:

-IA-Nawa-6

Also, the rank system is an interesting idea. Ezio and I are already discussing ranks, so it's great to hear some other ideas on the subject. Love to hear you guys' input; I'm not gonna have Ezio and I manage this up on a throne somewhere while the rest of ya just run around. We're all in this together, lads. So keep ideas for -IS- flowing if y'all do feel so inclined.

I think also we should branch out from insta a bit and do some more on merc things
like instead of focusing on saber and force (like most clans/guilds do) we focuse on weaponry... any thoughts?

If you mean divisions I like that idea plus I would add a division to that list
SE - Shinobi Elites (works on stealth kills)

I like the idea of a gun-focused guild. We'll see.

I really do like your idea Angel! Although, me loving long tags and all, if we tested people to see there primary skill, we could have short tags after the name to show position, like |D| for defender or |O| for offence.

Well thats what we kind of used for ARC back in the day.
So I say yes.
